STOWW and LIHEAP Extension

Let us help with your bills!

Tribal Council has approved extending our LIHEAP and STOWW programs to our Tribal Citizens who live in Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap and Pierce counties.

What are STOWW and LIHEAP?

  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) can assist with paying 60-75% of qualifying households monthly heating and cooling costs. This program offers automatic enrollment to households with proof of current SSI benefits, TANF, or food stamps.
  • Small Tribes of Western Washington Emergency Food Voucher Program (STOWW) is intended to give qualifying households extra assistance with basic food and nonfood items. This voucher is mailed out once a month and can be used only at approved stores.
