Description

The Stocker/ Pump Attendant will be first in charge of all stocking of all products on the store floor, and coolers while on shift. Organizes all products on store floor, and cooler. Keeps all areas on shelves clean and coolers organized and swept. Breaks down all product in coolers as items come in on delivery days. The Stocker/Pump Attendant will need to have excellent customer service skills and will be working with the public to help them at gas pumps, pumping their fuel, accepting, and processing payment, washing their vehicle windows, and putting air in their vehicle tires when asked for assistance. They will be required to take the Indian Country Class C UST Operator Training Course to have knowledge on fuel pump safety and maintenance. The person in this position will be changing out handles, buttons, and replacing hoses in the event of a drive off on pumps. They will be cleaning up fuel spills safely and in a timely fashion as well as keeping the area around pumps, parking lot, and around dumpsters clean and presentable for our customers. Principle Duties
  1. Stock all products on store shelves.
  2. Stock all products in coolers.
  3. Stock all liquor.
  4. Organize back stock.
  5. Organize coolers.
  6. Break down boxes from all new products.
  7. Keep coolers clean and swept.
  8. Keep all shelves on the store floor clean and organized.
  9. Restock towels and cleaning solution at pump.
  10. Wipe down pumps and keep the area around pumps clean.
  11. Take all garbage out at pumps.
  12. Clean around the dumpster and pick up garbage around the parking lot, and sidewalks.
  13. Stock bundles of wood.
  14. Assist customers with pumping gas when asked for assistance.
  15. Accepting and processing payments.
  16. Washing and drying vehicle windows when asked for assistance.
  17. Putting air in vehicle tires when asked for assistance.
  18. Change out handles, and buttons on pumps when needed.
  19. Change hoses, and file incident reports in the event of a drive off at pumps.
  20. Cleaning up gas spills using the appropriate safety procedures for the clean as well as discarding contaminated litter, or diapers.
  21. General maintenance on the air machine. 

Minor Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that all policies and procedures are always followed.
  2. Putting air in vehicle tires when asked for assistance.
  3. Washing and drying vehicle windows when asked for assistance.
  4. Identifies and resolves challenges that occur on shift in a timely and professional manner.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Take Class C UST Training
**Obtaining full COVID-19 vaccination, including booster, no later than 60 days from the hire date will be a condition of employment for all Samcor employees**
Working Conditions

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs; long periods of standing (90% of time), sit (10% of time), as well as frequently stoop, squat, lift, kneel, bend, and reach (30% of time); possess manual dexterity sufficient to use gas pumps and related equipment; be physically able to move through property. Mental/Visual Demands: Mental, visual, and audio supervision of fuel pumps and equipment is needed. Working Environment: Partly indoors with heat and some air conditioning and partly outdoors which may include inclement weather. Must be able to move around for majority of shift. Unavoidable hazards/risks: Possibility of exposure to communicable diseases. Protective clothing or equipment may be required (goggles, gloves, masks, boots, etc.)
