We will learn traditional knowledge and practical use of our region's native plants in season.
In this first session, we take the time to acknowledge some
of the natural indicators that tell us when it is time to harvest spring wild
edibles. A few of these indicators are below our feet on the forest floor,
while others are located on tree branches, displaying bright vibrant colors for
us to enjoy.
We will be doing plant harvesting, outdoor shoes and gloves recommended. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited, please RSVP by March 6 to save your spot! Samish citizens and their households are invited to attend.
