Samish citizens and their households are invited to a weekend of crafts, community, and culture at Fidalgo Bay Resort! Join a drop-in culture or language activity, pre-register for a 2-day craft class, or simply enjoy community and food together to kick off Píxwel (autumn). Morning refreshments and lunch provided.

2-Day Craft Classes (RSVP required)
Both craft classes are 10am-3pm Saturday and Sunday, with breaks for lunch. 

Loom Woven Clapper Bags
Learn the fundamentals of Coast Salish loom weaving and make a clapper bag. Taught by Leslie Eastwood and Emily Blackinton Baker. Ages 13 and up. 

Beaded Baby Moccasins
Learn to make a pair of beaded baby moccasins (made for size 0-3 months). Taught by Trish Breckenridge. Ages 13 and up.
