Next Steps

CDI's breach puts you at a greater risk for identity theft. Identity theft has been on the rise in recent years, but there is lot of information and resources available to help victims.

The best thing you can do to prevent identity theft is to request an extended fraud alert or credit freeze with the credit bureaus in your locality. Don't wait until you have an event, investigate and take steps to protect yourself now from this breach or any breach.

CDI is also offering one year of credit monitoring on them. Credit monitoring will alert you of any potential indicators of fraud and ID theft. For a full list of the credit monitoring services, visit https://info.krollmonitoring.com
